Term one will focus on technique and tools, term two on putting it together in performance and term three on auditions and industry.

Each course is run for Juniors & Intermediates while Foundation runs the Saturday program only. The complexity of the tools, content and learning objectives differ between the age brackets, but the goals remain the same.

A WORD FROM THE PRINCIPALS

We are so excited to be launching iampro’s first regular in-the-room classes in London. As iampro’s head of young performers online, Ryan has taken great delight in fostering an environment for young, passionate actors to grow and thrive within a supportive community of like-minded, goal-orientated kids. We now look forward to translating this to a setting where we can collaborate face-to-face and work comprehensively together. No matter a student’s experience level, if they are passionate about acting or musical theatre, they’ll thrive here. Our industry professional teachers will lift everyone up together. I’m hoping our classes in-the-room combined with our online platform of masterclasses and industry access will serve as a real launching pad for any aspiring young performer to follow their dream.

RYAN BENNETT

Co-Principal - Head of Curriculum

Ryan is a New Zealand born actor who moved to the UK in 2014 to complete a Master of Arts at Guildford School of Acting and has called the UK home ever since.

He’s starred in indie feature films (Zoe; Misplaced, Our Little Haven) and was in his first TV series when he was just 16 (but no chance you’re getting the name of that one)! Ryan also writes and directs his own short films that have nabbed a few accolades along the way.

On stage, he’s worked in venues all over the world – from the Sydney Opera House in Nightbook to a main stage at the Edinburgh Fringe with The Factory – a new musical. From Dubai Opera to Beijing as Bob Crewe in the international tour of Jersey Boys and then back to Sydney in a replica of Shakespeare’s Globe to play in Comedy of Errors and Macbeth.

In London, Ryan has appeared in Heathers at The Other Palace, Little Women at The Park Theatre and Glory Ride at The Charring Cross Theatre.

As a teacher, Ryan has worked for the Guildford School of Acting, Sylvia Young Theatre School, Emil Dale Academy along with other international institutions.

His passion for teaching acting equals his love of acting. He thrills in refining his experience into practical classroom tools that students can utilise and takes real satisfaction in supporting their journeys.

STUART TURNER

Co-Principal - Head of Operations

Stuart trained at The Royal Central School Of Speech and Drama. He has 15 years experience in the industry, performing in plays, musicals and on screen. His credits include West End, The Royal Shakespeare Company, UK/Regional and International theatres.

Stuart has over 10 years experience working with young people in the performing arts, teaching across the various art forms. He is dedicated to the needs and growth of each individual student and is always excited to see what they will achieve next.

Stuart believes that performing arts classes should always be active, accessible and most importantly… FUN! Whether you are here to build your confidence, find your voice, express yourself or explore new ways to develop your performing techniques, his only expectation is that you come with an open mind and be ready to play. Having fun, being playful and active in performing arts classes are key ingredients to developing your performing skill set. Everyone’s journey is unique.
