Devising and Creating Your Own Work with Gemma Crooks
In this module, students will learn the stylistic convention of devising a piece of original work. You will use techniques from Freddie Hendricks’s work on devising theatre as well as using folk stories from around the world to look at themes within a story. Students will consider how we share a narrative for a target audience and how we can start to create work from a question. In the final session, you will perform an original piece of work for an online performance.
