I am Linda Edmonds and two years ago I decided to ‘Jump back into’ my childhood passion of Acting.

My early training was at ‘The Actors Institute,’ London, ‘The Holburn Centre for Performing Arts’ and various Acting Workshops including a wonderfully memorable Masterclass in Acting with legendary Writer/Director Mike Leigh. I studied in an extension course; Acting for Film and Television at The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) USA under the tutorship of Director/Writer/Actor, Don Richardson.

Recent training includes; Advanced Screen Acting Course and Kingdom Drama School, Arts Ed, London. Lonesome Acting Workshops and ongoing training at Iampro, Run At It Shouting and various in person workshops.

I have recently played the female lead role of ALI, in an Arts Council funded R & D Workshop and performed in a work in progress, Live Presentation, at The Queens Theatre, Hornchurch for ‘Wet Cement’ a new two hour, two hander play by Darrel Draper. Other recent Acting credits are short film roles; Lead role, Maureen in ‘Another Drink’ and Sarah in ‘Stolen Island’.

Various Music Videos including the lead role of Lost Property Officer in Stephan Moccio’s, ‘Halston’ directed by Joao Retorta and small appearance in Harry Styles, ‘As It Was’ music video.

In my younger years I was a TV Presenter on BBC2’s No Limits. I appeared in various stage plays including Mr Tom by Kathy Burke (who guest directed during rehearsals) at The Bloomsbury Theatre, London. Other plays by: Alan Ayckbourn, Noel Coward, Willy Russell and Frank Harvey, mostly with The Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch Drama Group.

I wrote, co-produced and directed my plays ‘Rule Breaker’ and ‘Mr Single’ which premiered at The Brentwood Theatre and transferred to Jermyn Street Theatre London. I Co-wrote and Acted in profit share stage Sketch show ‘Shorts’ at Brentwood Theatre. Monologue stage show for Third Edge Theatre staged several of my monologues at ‘The Fold’, Essex. I attended Award winning playwright David Eldrige’s Writers Group at Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch and my short play ‘In All These Years’ was staged in a rehearsed reading at The Queens Theatre which I co- directed with Director Bob Carlton, from which I was invited to a New Writers Course at The National Theatre, London.

Recent Acting credits also include; Roles in corporate business videos and online adverts for The Salvation Army and looking forward to future Acting roles in the Industry.
