FINTY IS AN ACTRESS WHO HAS STARRED ACROSS STAGE, SCREEN AND DONE EXTENSIVE VOICE WORK.
Finty was the voice of Angelina Ballerina, which she worked on with her mother, Judi Dench who was Angelina’s ballet teacher! At the time of recording, she was part of the National Theatre’s The Ocean at the End of the Lane, alongside Charlie.
In this chat, she explains how growing up in a household, where both of her parents were in the theatre all the time, meant she found a passion for acting, after an initial dream of being a ballet dancer. Finty worked professionally and then made the decision to go to Drama school at 19, however she now believes this is not an essential route to become a professional actor. Finty also shares how one negative review when she was 23 has stayed with her and how she battles self-doubt, even after having an incredibly successful career.
