MINIS

Age: 4-7

This class is a well-rounded introduction into performing arts training. With games, exercises, routines and play – this class teaches them basic technique, gives them essential life-skills and confidence and is based around having FUN!

JUNIORS

Age: 8-12
Time: 10am – 1pm

All fees are based on a 12-week term, students also receive free access to iampro online (more training & opportunities). Payment plans are available.

This class is to push potential, nurture talent, explore technique and provide performing opportunities for students. Fun is at the heart of what we do, while providing high quality performing arts training and life-skills. We want our students to gain technique and confidence, whether they just enjoy it as a hobby or whether they want to take their first steps into the profession – this class will provide them with the toolkit they need as a young performer. Junior students have FREE access to IAMPRO the online drama school, where they can find additional resources, take more online classes and have the opportunity to be seen by top industry professionals.

FOUNDATION

Age: 13-17
Time: 10am – 1pm
Price: £350 per term

This class is to work to a high level – push potential, nurture talent, explore technique and provide performing opportunities for students. Fun is at the heart of what we do, while providing high quality performing arts training and life-skills. We are incredibly excited to be launching iampro Nottingham after a hugely successful year at iampro Derby. iampro Nottingham aims to provide high quality training in Acting and Musical Theatre for young talent to learn and thrive. Our school is focused on giving young performers the essential tools they need to succeed in performing arts, whether they want it as a hobby or to make a career in the arts, we aim to provide them with the technique, life skills, enjoyment and confidence they need.

BETH & LEWIS WILSON

PRINCIPALS

Beth is a professional actress with years of teaching and theatre school management experience. Lewis has built and grown several businesses and has extensive knowledge of the performing arts industry.

After a hugely successful year of running iampro Derby, they can’t wait to continue providing a fun, safe space with high-quality training to make the arts more accessible and help young performers to learn and thrive.

LETITIA DAWN JAMES

MANAGER

Letitia studied at the world-famous Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts school at The Barbican London from the age of nine years.

Qualified ISTD and RAD asscociate, Letitia has many years experience in not only working professionally herself but also teaching and sharing her knowledge. After being warmly welcomed to Iampro Derby at the end of last term, Letitia is looking forward to sharing her experience and Knowledge now at iampro Nottingham as Manager.

LAURENCE JAMES-DAVIS

ACTING TEACHER

Laurence James-Davis is a professional actor with screen credits including Emmerdale and Coronation Street.

He recently played the title role in Hamlet at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, in association with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Trained with Iampro under leading professionals from RADA, LAMDA, and Guildhall, Laurence specialises in acting techniques, text analysis, and audition preparation. With over 15 years’ experience mentoring young performers from different disciplines, he is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop skills, and excel in their craft.

EMILY BARKER

MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER

Emily is an ex professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars Ireland for 6 seasons and a finalist for 3 years and the 2023 winner. Emily is a British champion Latin & Ballroom dancer but also trained in Contemporary & Commercial.

With large experience in choreography- Dancing with the Stars, she has secured many choreography roles including full pantomime productions & group performances on Irish Tv. Emily has toured for the 5 years with DWTS, Strictly come dancing, Giovanni Pernice & was leading lady to Mcflys Harry Judd in the now west end production of “RIP IT UP” also leading lady to Striclty’s Alijaz Skorjaneic on “Here Come The Boys” & finally, leading lady to boy band member Of The Wanted Jay McGuiness in “RIP IT UP THE 50s”.

PIPPA NICHOLASS

MINIS TEACHER

Performing arts is something that has been part of Pippa's life for as long as she can remember. Pippa started in dance, and later found a deep love for Musical Theatre.

Pippa trained professionally at MADD College, graduating with her Musical Theatre diploma in 2018, along with her teacher qualifications and worked all over Europe in shows. Pippa’s career highlight so far was performing as Glinda in The Wizard of Oz in Lapland. Pippa can’t wait to share her love of the arts with the wonderful young performers here at iampro and be part of something really special.

DAISY DONOGHUE

MINIS ASSISTANT

Daisy is a Nottingham-born performer with a lifelong love for the stage. After training in acting as a school leaver, she went on to pursue her passion for working with young people and has been teaching musical theatre for over three years.

Alongside teaching, Daisy works in a secondary school supporting students with additional needs, where she strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for every learner. In her spare time, Daisy is actively involved in local productions, from plays and musicals to pantomimes.  Her experience both on stage and behind the scenes has also led her to choreograph her own shows. She is excited to bring her passion, creativity, and experience to Iampro Nottingham to help inspire the next generation of performers.

KATIE JANSEN

SCHOOL ASSISTANT

Katie has always had a passion for the performing arts and she’s been performing from the age of 8.

She has recently graduated studying Theatre at the University of Chichester where she gained theatrical skills in acting, stage management, production and movement. She has a kind and supportive personality. She always aims to create fun and encouraging environments for students to thrive and learn, alongside making and creating amazing shows and performances. She is a very chatty person so she will always be there to talk, help and uplift anyone around her. Katie is so excited to work with the iampro team and she can’t wait to share the rehearsal room with passionate students and teachers
